The main board is the control centre of a television. It takes HDMI, USB, tuner and streaming inputs, runs the picture processing, drives the panel through the T-Con board and tells the backlight what to do.
A failed main board usually shows up as no picture with sound, no inputs detected, a stuck logo, or a set that keeps restarting. Because it carries the firmware, the replacement must match the exact part number on the label, not just the TV model.
Check the sticker on the original board and compare every character before ordering. Boards that look identical can differ in panel timing and tuner region.
